It's a shame that this cute plate design is made by Moyra. I was a huge fan of this brand until I cut my hand on the edge of one of their plates and needed a bunch of stitches. It was so bad that I have permanent nerve damage in my hand. When I told the company (Moyra, not What's Up Beauty), because I think it's important to bring things like this to their attention, they basically told me it was my fault and too bad. And let me be clear. I didn't ask for anything. I didn't ask them to pay my medical bills or even to return the plate. I just wanted to let them know that the edges of their plates are so sharp that the simple act of dropping the plate and having it hit the side of my hand caused an injury that has permanent consequences. I couldn't believe it. I suggested that maybe they could just sand the end of the plate so it wasn't so sharp. Yeah, nothing. They just simply didn't care, they didn't even apologize!
So, now when I see their plates on websites like this one, I let people know my experience and advise them to look elsewhere. I now spend my money on Uber Chic, where the edges of their plates are not as sharp and dangerous.
If you still decide to buy their plates, be careful. Use exceptional care when you take them out of the sleeve, and sand the edges of the plate when you get them. Because eventually they do have to be taken out of the sleeve to use and the company won't care if you sever a finger. I did give them one star because their designs are usually pretty cool.
